Casa Loyalty provides multiple ways for customers to earn points, helping merchants engage their audience and encourage repeat purchases. However, due to platform restrictions, some actions require manual verification. This article explains the supported earning methods, limitations, and how to set up manual approval workflows.



Supported Ways to Earn Points


Customers can earn points through the following actions:

Important Considerations


  1. Social Media Tracking Limitations:

Most social media platforms do not allow third-party apps to track actions like liking, sharing, following, or subscribing automatically.

  1. Points Awarded via Links:

Because of these restrictions, points are typically awarded when a customer clicks the action button and opens the link you have configured. The system cannot verify if they completed the action automatically.



Manual Verification Workflow


For actions that cannot be automatically tracked (e.g., social media shares or reviews), Casa Loyalty supports a manual verification workflow:


  1. Enable Manual Approval:


  • Navigate to the action settings (e.g., Google Map Review).
  • Set Approval Type to Manual instead of Automatic.
  1. Customer Submission:


  • Customers submit proof of completing the action, such as a screenshot of their social media post or review.
  1. Merchant Approval:


  • Use the Actions tab in the left-side menu to review submissions.
  • Approve the points for customers once verification is complete.



Example: Google Map Review


  • Custom title: Google Map Review
  • Custom subtitle: 100 points
  • Points awarded: 100
  • Approval Type: Manual
  • Status: Active


This setup allows merchants to grant points for reviews and other actions while ensuring that points are only awarded to valid submissions.



Recommendations


  • For actions that cannot be automatically verified, always use the manual approval workflow to maintain control over point allocation.
  • For other actions such as placing orders or signing up, points can be awarded automatically without manual intervention.
  • Consider creating standardized instructions for customers to submit screenshots for manual verification to streamline the process.
