Nudges are smart on-site reminders designed to increase engagement with your loyalty program. They gently prompt customers to take key actions, such as creating an account, spending points, or using their rewards, all of which enhance their shopping experience and deepen their connection with your brand.
How to Access Nudges
To set up Nudges in CASA Loyalty, follow these steps:
- Open the CASA Loyalty app dashboard.
- In the left-hand menu, scroll down and click on View More (written in blue).
- Select Nudges from the expanded menu.
Types of Nudges
Account Creation
- When it appears: On the first visit to the site.
- How it works: A pop-up greets new visitors with a message like “Unlock exclusive rewards and perks” alongside a clear Sign Up button.
Benefits:
- Encourages users to join your loyalty program right away.
- Establishes a sense of exclusivity and value from the outset.
Simplifies the process for users to start earning points immediately.

- ## Points Spending
- When it appears: After a user accumulates points or during checkout if unredeemed points are available.
- How it works: Sends notifications or displays banners reminding users of their available points with messages like “You have 500 points! Redeem them for a discount on your next purchase.”
- Benefits:
- Motivates customers to redeem points, increasing their satisfaction with the program.
- Drives additional purchases by tying points usage to rewards.
- Keeps customers actively engaged in the loyalty ecosystem.
- ## Reward Usage
- When it appears: Close to the expiration date of rewards or during relevant purchasing moments.
- How it works: Sends emails, push notifications, or on-site alerts saying “Don’t miss out! Your reward for 10% off expires in 3 days.”
- Benefits:
- Creates urgency, prompting customers to act quickly.
- Reduces unused rewards, ensuring customers feel the value of the program.
- Encourages repeat engagement and retention through timely reminders.
Applying Your Nudges
- To activate a nudge for your customers, simply toggle the switch beside the specific nudge (e.g., Account Creation, Points Spending). Once toggled on, the change is saved automatically—no extra steps needed! 🎉
